Another great Event put on by Hardcore 24, Park Ave Bike, WNMCG. The event is always interesting and this year was no exception with the pending stroms fronts on there way the racers were gearing up for a long 24 hrs.
The GROC National Mountain Bike Patrol had 10 patrollers covering the HC24 course and grounds. Despite the challenging weather, every patroller managed to complete multiple laps. By consistently having presence on the course,
the patrol provided good race coverage and helped ensure a safe event. The patrol provided assistance with a variety of minor injuries including cuts, scrapes, contusions and sprains. During the night, the patrol was also present to help escort a racer off the course when he had pushed himself to a dangerous level of exhaustion.

Overall, a fun, safe time was had by racers, attendees, and patrollers. The patrol would like to thank the event coordinators for hosting such a great event, as well as the racers who gave us encouraging words of thanks and
support as we were out there enduring it as well. Looking forward to next year already!
We will also not forget theinfamous HOTDOG indecent, where we nearly had our first medical emergency before the race even started. Thanks to Jonah for the energy and entertainment.
