Penfield's Jonathan Brown, an avid mountain biker, envisions a community where trails in Monroe County and town-owned parks are all designated "shared usage.''
Where bikers, hikers, joggers and dog-walkers all get along. Where those who use the parks become advocates, not adversaries.
And while it may be impossible to convince all adults of the benefits of this philosophy, kids are another story.
